The terms that cover BeargrassAI websites, hosting, and the included Agent, written in plain language instead of legal fog, so you know what you are agreeing to before you sign.

1. What you are getting
BeargrassAI provides handmade websites and a package of AI-discoverability services for small businesses, including a Support Agent on every account. Depending on the offering you choose, the work includes:
- Website design, development, and hosting on Cloudflare Pages
- Structured data implementation (Schema.org) so AI tools and Google can quote your business correctly
- Agent Infrastructure Optimization (AIO): building and maintaining the data layer that makes your business findable and citable by AI tools
- Google Business Profile registration and synchronization
- A Support Agent included with every account, configured for your business; an advanced or voice Agent (the Sales Assistant offering) is available separately
- AI Search Tracking: weekly visibility tracking across AI models (optional)
- Website Care (Discoverability Care): active, ongoing content and optimization work above routine care (optional)
- SPIM (Service and Product Information Manager): one approved source that keeps your products and services true across your site (for catalog clients)
- Ongoing maintenance, content updates, and technical support
Your website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a professional-grade platform used by millions of websites worldwide. Your domain name remains yours. You own it, and it stays registered in your name.
2. What we offer
Website Migration. Move an existing site onto the BeargrassAI Cloudflare stack. One-time fee of $899. Includes DNS setup, email security, GEO and structured data configuration, and an AIO baseline. Existing content framed for AI search visibility; no new content written.
Rapid Build. A new site built from scratch on BeargrassAI's Cloudflare stack. One-time fee of $899. Five pages, two rounds of revision, standard templates, AIO-ready from day one.
Base Hosting. $39 per month after any entry build. Covers Cloudflare infrastructure, uptime, security, and routine care. Routine care covers minor text updates, link fixes, and keeping the site current. Redesigns, new pages, and new features are a separate conversation.
Support Agent (included). A per-client Support Agent comes with every account at no additional charge. It helps you make site changes, supports your growth, runs analysis, and answers customer questions from approved facts only. Configured for your business.
AI Search Tracking. Weekly visibility tracking across the major AI models, written in your customer's voice, with core site improvements at setup. Tiers from $99 per month plus a setup fee, published on the Pricing page. Cancel any time.
Website Care (Discoverability Care). Active, ongoing content and optimization work above routine care: content updates, search and AI optimization, and SPIM catalog management for clients with active product lists. From $99 per month, scoped per client.
Your Agent (Sales Assistant). An advanced or voice on-site Agent, above the included Support Agent, that answers customer questions and handles bookings from approved facts only. $125-200 per month in year one (includes the Agent build); $60-100 per month after. Requires a site on the BeargrassAI stack.
Additional services (Discoverability Care, AI Search Tracking/Scout, Custom Site Builds, Your Agent with Voice, Claude for Small Business Setup Session) are scoped and priced separately. Current rates are published on the Pricing page and quoted in writing before any payment. There is no minimum commitment on any offering.
3. What you own
You own your business. Your digital presence reflects that.
- Your domain name is registered in your name. Always.
- Your content (text, images, logos, and business information) belongs to you.
- Your structured data (the Schema.org markup we build) is yours.
- Your Google Business Profile remains under your control.
- Your approved facts (the business information used to build the site and train the Agent) belong to you.
- Your customer interaction data (conversation logs, questions asked, inquiry patterns) belongs to you.
What BeargrassAI retains:
- Custom code, design templates, and development tools created by BeargrassAI
- Agent configurations, prompt architectures, and the approved-facts runtime
- Proprietary tools and workflows used to deliver services
The principle. You own the deck. We own the tools. Your content, your data, and your business information are always yours. The systems and methods we use to build and run your services are ours.
4. Content updates
Small content edits (hours changes, a new service, a price change, adding a staff member, seasonal menu changes) are included in the monthly rate. If you consistently need more updates than the offering can absorb, we will talk about it, not send you an overage bill. If a change is genuinely out-of-scope or sustained beyond the included allowance, additional change requests are quoted in writing before any payment.
5. The Bear Plan: business continuity and portability
Your website will not disappear if BeargrassAI stops operating.
How your site is hosted. Your website runs on Cloudflare Pages, not on any single person's computer. Cloudflare is a publicly traded company (NYSE: NET) that serves roughly 20% of all internet traffic. Your site runs on their global network and does not depend on BeargrassAI being available day-to-day.
If BeargrassAI ceases operations. Your site stays live. You receive a complete export package containing all website source files (HTML, CSS, images), all structured data files, documentation sufficient for another developer to maintain or migrate the site, and DNS configuration records. If you have the Sales Assistant, you also receive the approved-facts file and Agent configuration documentation. We provide a 60-day transition support window to help you or your new provider take over.
If you want to leave. You can cancel service at any time. Send Mark an email or give him a call and your monthly service stops at the end of that billing cycle. Upon cancellation: you receive the full export package described above; your domain continues to point wherever you direct it; any prepaid monthly fees are refunded on a prorated basis; the year-one rate already paid is non-refundable to the extent the build was already delivered.
Can another web person take over? Yes. Your site is built with standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and is not locked into a proprietary platform. Any competent web developer can read and modify the code, deploy it to any hosting provider, and continue maintenance without needing BeargrassAI's tools or access. The structured data and AIO work is built on open standards (Schema.org) that any developer can work with. The underlying AI models are commercially available; nothing about your setup requires BeargrassAI specifically.
6. Payment terms
- Monthly fees are due on the 1st of each month
- Payment accepted via Stripe
- Grace period: 15 days after the due date, followed by a friendly reminder
- Service pause: after 30 days overdue, updates and support are paused until the account is current. Your site stays live during a service pause.
- Extended nonpayment: after 60 days overdue, BeargrassAI may terminate service per Section 8
We don't send accounts to collections over a late month. We pick up the phone.
7. What happens if we disagree
1. Talk first. Most issues resolve with a conversation. Call or email.
2. Written notice. If talking doesn't resolve it, either party puts the concern in writing. The other party has 14 days to respond.
3. Mediation. If we can't resolve it between us, we agree to try mediation before anything else. We will use a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Flathead County, Montana, and split the cost.
4. Last resort. If mediation fails, disputes are governed by the laws of the State of Montana and resolved in Flathead County courts.
No surprises. BeargrassAI will never make changes to your live site without your knowledge. Major changes require your written approval. Routine maintenance and security updates are covered under your service agreement and do not require separate approval.
8. Either of us can end this
You can cancel any time. Send Mark an email or give him a call and your monthly service stops at the end of that billing cycle. You receive your export package and any prorated refund for the unused portion of that billing period.
BeargrassAI can end service with 60 days written notice if:
- The account is more than 60 days past due
- Continued service would require BeargrassAI to do something unethical or illegal
- BeargrassAI ceases operations (see Section 5)
In all cases, you receive your export package and transition support.
9. Liability and warranties
BeargrassAI will make reasonable efforts to keep your website and Agent running reliably. However:
- Uptime target. BeargrassAI targets 99.9% monthly uptime for client websites, measured at the Cloudflare Pages edge. It is a performance target, not a service level agreement.
- Uptime. We rely on Cloudflare and third-party AI providers for infrastructure. We do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not liable for outages caused by these providers.
- Agent accuracy. The Agent answers from approved facts you sign off on. BeargrassAI is not liable for Agent responses that are inaccurate due to outdated or incorrect approved facts provided by the client.
- Results. AIO improves your discoverability to AI recommendation systems. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, or revenue outcomes.
- Maximum liability. In any dispute, BeargrassAI's total liability is limited to the fees paid by the client in the 12 months preceding the dispute.
10. Your responsibilities
For the services to work well, we need a few things from you:
- Accurate information. The Agent and the structured data are only as good as what you give us. If your hours change, your pricing changes, or you add a service, let us know.
- Timely responses. When we need your approval on something (design decisions, content changes, launch timing), reasonable response times keep the project moving.
- Content rights. You confirm that the text, images, and business information you provide are yours to use and do not infringe on anyone else's rights.
- Payment. Per the terms in Section 6.
11. The simple version
You own your stuff. We build and maintain it. You can leave anytime and take everything with you. If something happens to us, your site doesn't disappear. If we disagree, we talk like adults first.
The Agent knows your business because you told us about it. The data from it belongs to you. The systems we built to make it all work belong to us.
No lock-in. No hostage situations. No fine print that contradicts the big print.
