Why do card payments run on Stripe?

A site that cannot take a payment is unfinished
Getting found is only half the job if taking money still means a phone call, a second login, or a tool you do not trust. BeargrassAI runs card payments on Stripe so a deposit, a booking hold, and a sale at the counter can live with the site: clear receipts, and the money in an account that is yours.
The Stripe account is in your name
Stripe handles card payments for businesses of every size. For a rural maker, a shop, or a trade, that means the card security and the payouts without you having to build a payments company. You keep a Stripe account in your name. BeargrassAI builds the checkout, the booking, and the counter that sit on top of it.
We do not keep card numbers. Stripe does that work. Our Privacy page says so in plain language.
The money goes to you
The customer pays. Stripe sends the money to your business. Our part is the one rate we quote: 4.6% plus 30 cents on each card payment, on domestic cards. Cards from other countries cost more, and that extra is passed through. You see one number. We are paid when you sell, not by hiding a second fee.
How the counter and the booking are built depends on the job. The rate is the only number on the page. See Commerce and Pricing.
The site and the money, on two known names
The site runs on Cloudflare. The card payments run on Stripe. Together they are the two outside services under BeargrassAI: hosting and payments, looked after as part of the work, for an owner-led business.
